SRDC Saturday Academy

About the Program

The Saturday Academy of the Studen Research Development Center will continue the best practices of the successful MIE, CCCE and AGMUS Institute of Mathematics Pre-College Program. Our emphasis will be to prepare the next generation of scientists in mathematics from Puerto Rico through a research mentoring experience.

During a sixteen (16) week period the pre-college high school students will work with college level professors, graduate and undergradute students, and students from other high schools learning the new developments in the math and computer science fields. At the end of the period, all participants will have the opportunity to present the results of the research in the Pre-College Research Symposium.

Requirements:

The Fall 2015 Saturday Research Academy will no pay stipend to the pre-college participants.
