Gloricelys Rivera, Ph.D.

Gloricelys Rivera studied at Universidad Metropolitana (UMET) and was part of the Model Institutions for Excellence (MIE). She was granted a BS in Cellular Molecular Biology in 2005 at UMET, and continued graduate studies at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces. She completed a Master of Science in Biology with emphasis on Microbiology in 2008 and a PhD. In Biology in December 2011 with the Dissertation title: "Circadian Rhythms in the chestnut blight fungus Cryphonectria parasitica"

She is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the ChEMTox Lab in the School of Environmental Affairs at UMET
