Ángela Ortiz-Nieves, Ph.D.

Ángela Ortiz Nieves, who studied at Universidad Metropolitana with the Model Institutions for Excellence scholarship in science and completed a BS in Computer Science in 2003, obtained her Ph.D in Applied Mathematics at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, in January 2010. The topic of her dissertation was "Modeling the Transmission of Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococcusin Hospitals: Case Study."
